Professional crossroads, here we meet again.

There are some opportunities you shouldn’t let go. Two months ago I was at a very difficult moment of my life, struggling whether I had to accept a move as Business Consultant or risk being part of an organizational layoff. No matter how hard I tried to convince myself of the contrary, I knew that becoming a Business Consultant wasn’t an option for me. I was right to listen to my heart, stay true to myself and honestly explain my management that I’d rather risk the layoff.

I have successfully finished my duties as a Pre-Sales Consultant for DC & Virtualization at Dimension Data today and as of Monday, December 1st 2014 I will be opening a new chapter in my professional life.

My new role at Novartis as ESX Technical Manager promises to be exciting, challenging and fulfilling. I can’t wait to start working on my new duties. I can’t say much about the role besides the fact that is has a global scope and besides co-ownership of the virtualization platform I will also have SME responsibilities for the virtualization stack.

I look forward very much to begin. I hope listening to my heart was the good choice and I also hope I will be up to the challenge!
